BUDDHA:

Laughing Buddha spreads joy and happiness wherver he goes and usually carries a bag or gourd and may be sitting on or carrying coins. When shown with coins the Buddha brings prosperity and riches as well as happiness. Many believe that rubbing the Buddha's belly will bring luck and joy. There are many postures for the Buddha statues in the store.

KUAN YIN:

In China, Kuan Yin is the Goddess of Mercy, Compassion and is also the Protectress of Children. She is usually shown with a Lotus (purity and divine birth), holding a vase which holds the nectar of her compassion. In India she is the male deity known as Avelokitesvara, "The One Who Hears the Cries of the World." There is a variety of Kuan Yin statues at the store.
